Are there any full year residents in the Melrose Mountain Community?

Yes! While most homes are used seasonally, there are residents who call Melrose Mountain their home year round.

How often does it snow?

The weather varies, but on average the mountain receives one or two snowfalls per year. Often it's just a dusting, but accumulations of up to 18" have occurred. Rarely does the snow stick around for long.

Who provides emergency services to the community?

Melrose Mountain is located in unincorporated Tryon, so emergency services are provided by Polk County.

When is the annual Property Owners Meeting?

Meetings are held on the third Saturday in July, 11am at the Melrose Mountain clubhouse.

When do we pay dues?

Dues are billed semiannually and are payable in January and July.
